Bloemfontein Childrens Choir

Huibrie's love for choir singing and the development of her skills in this field began during her early student years (1964 - 1967) while she was under the direction of Philip McLachlan.

Although her other great love while she attended Stellenbosch University was Afrikaans literature, Huibrie decided to focus on music and has since been a dedicated music educator in the world of choir music.

Christo is an M.Mus student, majoring in piano, at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein. He began piano training at an early age, receiving many music awards during his school career. He's been the choir's pianist since 2003. He was also one of the composers for the Songbridge Festival in Wakayama 2008.

Willie Venter (Director & choreographer)

Willie Venter was born in Kuruman. In 1982 he left for Pretoria where his entertainment career took off. In 1994 he became a finalist in the Mr SA competition and used it as a steppingstone for his career.
